Shipping Policy

Shipping and Delivery

Upon purchase, Swaim Studios will make arrangements to ship your items. You will receive an email notification with tracking information once your order has shipped. Transit times are the best estimation from our carriers but may be impacted by non-expected occurrences. Normal transit time once the product is shipped is 2 weeks.

 

Before your furniture leaves Swaim’s manufacturing factory it is inspected by our QC department. It is inspected again prior to boxing and it is photographed. Once the items are received in your home, you should inspect for any damage. While it is unlikely that any damage occurred, you should still check it. If you find damage, you should note the damage with the delivery service. You must notify Swaim within 48 hours of delivery if there is damage.  If there is no damage upon receipt, the receiver will be asked to sign for the order before the driver leaves.

 

Damaged Merchandise and Freight Claims

1. Verify carton quantity and inspect all cartons and products for damage.

2. Sign for only the items that you receive.

3. NOTATE any damage to the box or packaging materials listed on the Bill of Lading. Do not simply sign a clean Bill of Lading if damage is visible or suspected. Damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading. If the Bill of Lading is left “clean”, the carrier is relieved of any further responsibility.

4. Do not refuse merchandise damaged in transit.

5. Photograph the damaged furniture, carton and all packaging materials.

Please allow 5 business days from the last reported activity to see if the item is found.

If you have not received your order within the 5 day window that you were to receive it, please contact customer service at customerservice@swaim-inc.com .  Please note that Swaim is not liable for deliveries that are delayed, lost, or stolen while in transit.
